Student work created for the event will be on display. Anna C. Scott School fifth grade students created art, Leonia Middle School eighth grade science students wrote essays, and Leonia High School photography students took photographs.

The theme was to consider how sharing water, an important natural resource, can lead people to live peacefully with one another.

Winners and honorable mention awards in each category will be announced at 2:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served, and the public is welcome to attend.

For those unable to attend Sunday, the art, essays, and photographs will remain on display during the month of February for all to come and appreciate the efforts of the young people of Leonia Schools.

The event is organized by the Leonia Peace Project Committee: Ellie Spiegel, Lela Charney-Squitieri, Susie Levy, Carol Schulzrinne, and Nanda Van Ginkel.
